HH KKS: So...when we use the term liberation it’s a confusing term because it refers to different goals that may be attained and there are five types of liberation mentioned...one Sayuja, merging with the Supreme, is always rejected by the Vaisnavas...then there is...(sanskrit)..or to have a form like the Lord...to stay in the same abode as the Lord...to be one of the associates of the Lord and to have equal opulence as the Lord...those things are not desired by devotees but if the Lord gives them then the devotees may accept...but the devotees are not after that...liberation for a Vaisnava means simply...(sanskrit)...life after life...birth after birth...engage in the service of the Lord...that’s all...nothing else...(sanskrit)...to always glorify Krishna to always be absorbed in his service that is liberation for a devotee...and if it’s in the material world or the spiritual that’s up to Krishna...we leave it up to Him...so the four types of liberation which we accept...the same abode the same opulence and so on...that Krishna may give...we leave it up to Him if He wants to do that...we never ask him for that...we never desire that...but we desire His service...that is the point...that is the devotee!.(03-14-09- Stockholm)
