An example is seen in terms of yukta vairagya, using the material energy in the service of the Supreme Lord and thus transcending it. Placing the iron in fire, it becomes as fire and thus there is no longer any contamination. Yes… but the example can be thought of, that modern technology is a product of ugrakarma. Srila Prabhupada translates ugrakarma as horrible works meant to destroy the world. We can say “aggressive activity”. Srila Prabhupada refers in his purports to the First Canto to the factories as “the dungeons of the demons”, which is very graphic!
