When we're in the middle of an ecstatic festival, who thinks of the four regulative principles?! You just think:
"This is ecstasy!"
"This is amazing!" "This is a wonderful feast!"
Who's thinking like, "I'm not allowed to smoke, or drink, or even take coffee or tea!"
Nobody in the middle of an ecstatic event is thinking like that!!!
We're riding on ecstasy! So enthusiasm is what carries us!
