Practice Makes Perfect

We have to practise then we can do so many things. That’s how it is: ‘What cannot be done in the beginning can be done later on.’
Sometimes sanyassa is compared to walking on a tight rope in the circus! At the top of the circus one is walking on the tight rope and there is no net.
“No net, can you do it?!”
Not just like that, it’s not the matter that:
“Hey can you do it?”
“Yes I can do it”
Practise, you first start on a low court 30cms above the ground and then you jump off and on- but after a while you got it and then it goes higher and higher until you can do it. So spiritual life is like that: What is so difficult now, will be easy tomorrow. It will be easy tomorrow so we fight our fight today and then we can fight bigger fights tomorrow.
That is the nature of devotional service and each service is preparation for the next bigger service.
