Mood of acceptance is beginning of becoming fearless. But in the West we never accept anything! Yes, yes, we worship God but, you know we make sure that we are dry and high. We make sure that everything is perfectly arranged -that we are insured, that everything is as safe as possible.
And like that we are making so many arrangements.
So, this dependence of Supreme Lord must be there...
...We see that Srila Prabhupada was saying that in His childhood there was cholera epidemic and people were dying like flies. And that solution to the whole thing was Harinam.
And when they every day had a lot of Harinam then the epidemic subsided!
So that was a totally different approach then Western approach.
And that is really what I’m talking about, the approach of the depending to the Supreme Personality of Godhead and take shelter of Him, and to see Him as main source of our protection.
That’s very different from the Western approach.
We are simply taking shelter of devotional service and then everything will be taking care of.
