(Kadamba Kanana Swami 16/01/2010)We are all taking on this mood of dedicating all our activities to the service of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. So the Grhastas are doing the same thing, but they have to do it within the household situation, like I describe it: undercover agents, secret service!
Not openly but you know - a little maha water in the drink at work, infiltrate!...
In this way somehow or other, they also have to in all conditions dedicate all their energy in the service of Krishna...
Prabhupada said : 'There was a boy who was in love and he worked for a whole week and then spent a whole week’s salary in buying a ring for his beloved, so in this way he actually worked the whole week for her.'
So that’s how it is. In the same way one can work the whole month in a mundane situation but utilise whatever we gain from that work to Krishna. Part of utilising it means maintain a house where Krishna is worshipped, arranging for some prasadam or something to be offered to Krishna.
