Kadamba Kanana SwamiWithout being merciful to others we can not get enough taste in Krishna consciousness to maintain it. We may get it for a while but we can not maintain it if we are not merciful to others. That is essential! Somehow or other we have to do something to pass on Krishna consciousness.
The more we become involved in being kind and merciful, the more we will be accepted and the more we will become the servant of Lord Chaitanya.It is of course nice if we become involved in some sort of propaganda, either book distribution, speaking about Krishna or cultivating people, there are so many ways, so many devotees are doing different things.
There is no limits to how we can preach but we must know that when we preach in a spirit of being compassionate and actually trying to be kind and merciful to others and try to see how they are suffering, then we become real preachers then our preaching becomes inspired preaching.
