Posted: 04 Jun 2012 02:03 PM PDT (HH Kadamba Kanana Swami, Melbourne, Australia, 20th May 2012) Lecture: Seminar – Mahajanas II Our movement is rooted in the classical Vedic times, and our movement is also rooted in the medieval times, when Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in 1486. So did Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu change anything? No I pointed out yesterday that He presented His teachings on a basis of a number of scriptures, of which one was the Brahma Samhita. He took the Brahma Samhita and it is right in the centre of our movement. When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu found that Brahma Samhita in South India, He was very inspired, and He spread it widely. The Brahma Samhita is cent per cent authorised. We follow it 100% and not one word that we don't follow. So if anyone is asking: 'What is your philosophy?' 'Here read this.' 'Why are you saying that Krishna is the Supreme?' 'We are not saying that Krishna is the Supreme. Brahma is saying that Krishna is the Supreme. Argue with him if you want. If you want to argue, don't argue with me, argue with the Brahma Samhita, argue with Brahma's words!' Rating: 0.0/7 (0 votes cast) |
